Coloring Your Eyes.. With Eyeliner!

Lately I've discovered that I really enjoy using different colors to tightline my upper waterline. Don't get me wrong, doing it with a simple black or brown is great. Using a color like purple, blue, or even green really makes my brown eyes brown eyes pop. It also looks super cool when you see that subtle hint of color peeking out. Using colorful eyeliners has become a go-to step for me, even on my lazy days.

Some of my favorite eyeliners are the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, in Covet and Empire. These really stay put once I apply them and don't smear or smudge under my eye after application. I also like the NYX Cosmetics Slide On Eyeliner in the shade Sunrise Blue, Rimmel London Soft Kohl in 025 Royal Blue, Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in 230 Deep Ocean, and a dark aubergine eyeliner my mom picked up on her recent trip to Dubai, a Turkish brand called Gabrini Ultra Waterproof Eyeliner in 06.

You might be wondering "Wait, aren't the Gabrini Ultra Waterproof Eyeliner in 06 and the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Empire the same?" My answer is, no. Even though they might appear to be the same exact shade in the photos, when you look at them in natural light Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Empire is a bit more metallic and the Gabrini Ultra Waterproof Eyeliner in 06 is creamy and matte.

*Tip: Using eyeliners to tightline your upper waterline creates the illusion of your lashes looking fuller.
