50 Shades of Grey Lipstick

How do we begin? Hmmm. We all have our little secrets... some have more raunchy ones then others. Ours, well, we love lippies. 

All kinds of lippies... okay maybe not all but most (we're not quite on the bandwagon of purple or crazy shades of lippies). 

Now does this post have anything to do with the book? Umm, not really. Are we really gonna have 50 different shades of lipstick? No, more like 15, but with an extra bonus 5 just for fun (in reality we couldn't quite decide... choosing your favorite lippies is not as easy at it seems!). We've divided our chosen lippies into 3 categories: Everyday Lips, A Step Up from Natural Lips, and Bold Lippies. 

Now onto the lippies!

Everyday Lips

Mac Syrup, Navshin's go-to lipstick, a my lips but better shade. Naznin's pinky sheer shade is Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Boy, very sheer yet buildable. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Canotier is Navshin's preferred sheer nude lipstick. Mac Touch, Naznin's my lips but better shade. Bobbi Brown Rum Raisin, a berry neutral shade for both of us (see what we did there? berry neutral, very neutral ;] ). Revlon Honey is a barely there shade for both of us that stains and Tarte LipSurgence adjusts to your own unique lip shade, on Naznin its more of a red brown and on Navshin its more of a pinky red. Both of these two are put it on and forget about them and they're nice and minty for fresh breath! 

A Step Up from Natural Lips

Revlon Balm Stain Smitten is Naznin's pop of color, berry stain (a good spring color), Revlon Balm Stain Romantic is Naznin's everyday, no fuss red lip stain. Both are very moisturizing and minty! Revlon Lip Butter Red Velvet is Navshin's everyday red, more on the sheer side yet still pigmented and very comfortable to wear. NYX Little Susie ("Susie, you're a baby" We had to go there. If you don't know what we're talking about, watch this video) is Navshin's go-to spunky spring shade. For those days where you want a pop on your lips! Maybelline Color Whisper Berry Ready both of our favorite easy to wear, moisturizing deeper berry shade. Chanel Caractère is Navshin's brownish, mauve-ish almost Kylie Jenner lippie.

Reds and one random bright pink!!

Maybelline Vivids Shocking Coral is Navshin's funky, bright pink yet extremely wearable lippie, (not intimidating at all, people). Rimmel Kate Moss 107, Navshin's red/berry lippie "When I put this on and blot it, it does not go anywhere, like seriously" a bit drying though so put a balm on top or underneath, whatever you fancy. Bobbi Brown Art Stick Harlow Red is Naznin's party red shade, "I put this on when I go to a party and don't have to worry about the red going anywhere". Mac Diva is Navshin's beloved, vanilla scented, matte, deep, burgundy, vampy shade, "I feel so chic when I wear it". Covergirl Hot Passion, a Taylor Swift recommendation, our favorite matte red lipstick, worn by our fave, Tay Tay! Sephora Lip Cream Always Red, a very easy to wear, essential matte red lip. Very pigmented and stains the lip and does not move. Rimmel Provocalips Play With Fire, two-sides, first side is the color and the second side is the lock and shine; matte finish, Navshin: "When I wore it, it was drying but as soon as I put the second step on it was comfortable and moisturizing." This lippie is seriously bulletproof, people (we are still stained on our arms from this lippie).

Phew! *lets out a deep breath* Lets all catch up now and take a second people. We know, its a lot to take in, but trust us, these are all worth it. 

Oh, and a quick tip, when you wear a lipstick, (like any lipstick, it doesn't matter which one) apply the lipstick, then blot with a tissue, then reapply the lippie, then blot again and then gently place a tissue on your lips and dust over your tissue covered lips with a little translucent powder. Don't forget to do the finger trick, where you put your finger in your mouth and pull it out, (very Fifty Shades of Grey, we know lol, but really get your minds out of the gutter people, come on now) so you don't have lipstick on your teeth, because that's just not cute, let's be honest. LOL. We got your back ;) Very tedious process, but if you follow these steps, your lipstick, no matter which one, will not, at all  go anywhere.
